Using YouTube for Marketing and Promotion

Are you currently using YouTube for marketing? If so, what kind of results are you getting? Believe it or not, the results that most people get from YouTube are slim to none, but if you want to increase your chances of success, there are some things that you can do. In this article, we will go over some of the things that you can do to make your video stand out from the crowd, and get more views.

If you’re currently using YouTube for marketing, then you know that there are a ton of other videos out there that you have to compete with. If you want to separate yourself from the crowd and get more views, you have to be crafty with your approach. It isn’t enough to create a simple little video and wait for the traffic to come. You also have to do your best to drive traffic to your video also.

If you didn’t already know, there are a few kinds of videos that you can do to make your video stand out from the crowd. One of my favorite kinds of videos is the kind where it’s just you in the video talking. This is the most basic form of video and is the most accepted kind. In fact when users search on YouTube, this is the kind of video that they’re looking for.

People on YouTube want to interact with folks. So when they’re searching for a video, this is what they’re looking for. However, there are instances where some videos other than a talking video can generate a lot of views. One kind of video that is like this is called a screen cast.

If you’re using YouTube for marketing, then you know that this kind of video is what a lot of marketers like to use. When I first started out, I started using a talking video and then eventually migrated to the screen casts. Screen casts are just easy to make and are fast to make also. All you need is a simple program such as Cam studio (camstudio.org) to create a screen cast.

No matter the kind of video that you make, you will have to get traffic to it. There are a number of ways that you can get traffic to your video. One such way is with social bookmarking. Go to a site such as Digg.com or Stumbleupon.com and submit your news story to them. Dig still accepts YouTube videos so you’re in the clear here.

Start Your Own YouTube Business

Are you looking to start your own YouTube business? If so, then I think you’re making a wise decision to do so. Starting your own YouTube business has its perks because you’re benefiting from a lot of the traffic that YouTube gets on a daily basis. Starting your own YouTube business is a good thing to do if you want to see your sales increase.

Marketing on YouTube has its advantages. For one, YouTube gets a lot of hits to its website. All you have to do is upload a video and wait for the traffic to come. Okay I admit it isn’t that simple, but that’s pretty much all that you have to do. YouTube is a form of social marketing, so if you ever wanted to dabble in the social marketing world – YouTube is a great place to start.

When making your videos, you should know that it’s easy to upload a certain form of video. One kind of video that you can upload is a talking video. This is when you’re in the video and you’re talking about a subject relevant to your product or service. In your video, you will want to introduce yourself and then start talking and giving tips that are related to your product.

Never try to directly sell your product. Think of your video as an article – keep it informative. Its sole purpose is to educate your reader, so selling should be reserved until they click on your link. You should also try to mix up the kind of videos that you put up. By that I mean, instead of putting up a video of yourself, consider putting up something such as a screen cast to demonstrate value also.

A screen cast is simply a video that shows your reader how to do something. This is usually an on-screen demonstration of something where your face isn’t noticed. This can be a good thing if you’re strictly going for delivering value to your reader, and don’t want to include any biased opinion on your behalf.

Starting your own YouTube business can be a smart thing to do. To start your own YouTube business, all you need is a camera and some information and you’re good to go. Your videos should be focused on helping your viewer to understand something, so keep this in mind.

Online Video Optimization

Online video optimization is one of those topics that are rarely discussed in the internet marketing world, but is something that deserves a little more consideration. Online video optimization is all about optimizing and positioning your video so that people can find it in the search engines. If you’ve ever went to Google and typed in a search phrase and you saw that a video popped up as one of the results, then you have noticed online video optimization in process.

Online video optimization isn’t hard to do. If you go to YouTube and upload a video, you will notice that there is a place there for you to put your keywords in. This is a pivotal part in the optimization process. Your keywords will tell YouTube what your video is all about, and the other half of the battle is all about increasing the amount of views that your video receives.

Getting a lot of views can be a very difficult thing to do. I can remember when I first started off with making videos for YouTube; my view count was at like 3 views. I would watch videos similar to mines get thousands of views while my view count was still in the single digits column. But luckily, I discovered a few simple tips that would allow my video to get noticed more.

Online video optimization is all about making your video more popular than it already is. To do this, there are a few things that you can do. The first thing that you can do is show yourself in the video. This may seem obvious, but there is something called a “screen cast” that only teaches a viewer how to do something via words and a graphical demonstration – but no person is shown. If you want to get more views, migrate away from the screen cast and gravitate towards showing yourself on camera.

Another tip for online video optimization is to make your videos long. I believe the longest your video clip can be on YouTube is 10 minutes, so make your video in the 7-10 minute long range. Hopefully what you’re talking about has relevance as you want to increase the number of votes that you get also. With more votes, your popularity will grow and YouTube will rank your video higher in the search engines and database.

Film Marketing Strategies

Do you wish to know film marketing strategies that you can use to make your next film a success? If so, then you will enjoy this article. Inside of this article, I will show you film marketing strategies that you can use to make your upcoming film a hit. It isn’t hard to market your film; you just have to know where to promote it for the most success.

One of the best film marketing strategies that I’ve ever heard is to market your film on the internet. The internet makes it easy for you to promote your film even if you don’t know what you’re doing. I personally market my films online with great success. One of the best places that you will want to promote your videos online is on YouTube.

YouTube is a social networking website that makes it easy to get promotion for the videos that you have. You want to start with YouTube because of the massive amount of traffic that this website receives. Simply upload your video to YouTube, enter the right keyword terms, and watch your video get massive amounts of traffic. Hopefully you’re uploading something unique and that is of value to users – because this is the only kind of video that is successful online.

When it comes to film marketing strategies, I like to incorporate online marketing with offline marketing. One of the best ways to market your film offline is with direct mail. You can purchase a mailing list from the SRDS (available at your local library) and find a list of targeted prospects that would be a great fit for your movie.

Inside of the SRDS, you will find a ton of lists of people who have purchased something from their list owners. You want to capitalize on this by offering the people on these lists something that they are looking for. Direct mail is becoming more and more expensive to do, but it’s a great way to get your message out to the masses.

Another one of my favorite film marketing strategies is paid advertising. Hopefully you have a large budget for your film so that you can promote it offline and online. Online advertising is very easy to do – and is fast also. Simply select those websites who you think will be a great fit for your video, and create a promotional piece that can be use to market your video online.
